RankRanger SERP Fluctuations
OSCILLATIONS OF GOOGLE SERP
The Ranking Risk Index measures SERP fluctuations for over 10,000 domains and keywords that Rank Ranger monitors daily.
Rank Ranger records changes in the structure of the SERP and tracks Google SERP features to determine if ranking fluctuations are potentially caused by changes in the type or number of results from vertical search engines (e.g., images, news, maps, etc.). which Google has included in the first page of results.
You can find more information in the history of updates to Google’s algorithms.

How does this tool help me?
The Rank Ranger tool for measuring risk examines and depicts Google’s ranking models for changes in algorithms. Google launches many updates every year, and while we all comment on big ones like Penguin and Panda, smaller predators (updates) can also put your ranking in search results at risk.
This tool is designed to provide you with easy-to-understand monitoring of changes to algorithms, so you don’t have to wait for someone from somewhere to tell you that there has been one.
Reading the graph
The numbers in the graph show a change in ranking for a specific date. The higher the number, the more fluctuations in the ranking there were for that day. Colors index the threat level for rankings – when you see orange, it’s a good idea to review how your site performs, and if there are differences, consider taking action. With red color and visible drop – you need to take more serious measures.
