The last thing you need to do is start a debate about which is the best content management system (CMS) for SEO (especially on Twitter). Let’s take a closer look at the data.
The GotchSEO team analyzed the top 10 SERP results for 10,000 unique keywords to check which CMS is best for SEO.
Here is what they found:

Don’t have a CMS at all…?
Yes, according to the data, 58% of the ranked results do not use CMS at all. Although the data is not 100% accurate, most of the analyzed sites do not use CMS at all. If we remove from the list those who do not use CMS – the results are less surprising.

How was the study conducted?
This is by no means a comprehensive study, but there is reason to limit the analysis to 10,000 keywords.
Why are 10,000 key phrases analyzed?
Analyzing more than 10,000 words would be a waste of time because it would not drastically change the results. WordPress is expected to be the best for SEO because it is the most commonly used CMS (63% of all CMS-based sites).
With the addition of more and more links – the results did not change. There is a chance that a larger sample will change the results, but it is very unlikely.
Where did the data come from?
A list of basic words such as “car”, “books” and “travel” has been created. They are then analyzed by Ahrefs’ Keyword Explorer tool and the focus was on the “Phrase Match” option. From there, 50 key phrases and top 10 results for each are exported. The process is repeated until 100,000 addresses of 10,000 key phrases are collected. Addresses are tested by What CMS’s API .
The process definitely requires a lot of time. There is probably an easier way, but we thank the GotchSEO team for their diligence.
Conclusion? What is the best CMS for SEO?
There is nothing more to say.
WordPress is the best CMS for SEO in 2021.
The idea here is to make a decision based on a database, not a personal opinion. And we will prove one more thing with this post. You don’t have to type 1800 words to rank on Google.
All you have to do is satisfy your search intention, create quality content and get quality backlinks 🙂 Length does not mean quality!
